Job Description As a Security Officer Secure Entry Access in York, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting employees, visitors, and operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor badges as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records. Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry and report irregularities to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of designated business areas, access points, and the perimeter, as assigned by the location. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
