Responsibilities The attorney will manage multiple cases, handle regulatory and compliance matters, and act as the primary contact for litigation and client counseling. Manage and litigate cases related to managed care and health care issues. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering legal advice and coordinating case-related activities. Oversee regulatory and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Conduct detailed legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys. Represent clients in court, arbitration proceedings, and settlement negotiations. Provide significant case management and client counseling, coordinating with associates and staff. Stay updated on relevant legal developments and changes in managed care and health care regulations. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; active membership in good standing of the New Jersey State Bar. 2-3 years of experience in complex matters and employment litigation/arbitration with a focus on managed care or health care; 3-5 years in firm type (Litigation or Healthcare) experience preferred. Excellent academic credentials with strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to handle multiple cases and manage regulatory or compliance matters; strong client counseling and case management skills. Experience in health care or managed care is required.
