Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices – Automotive Alignment Technicians About the Position Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles, the technicians reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true. They also complete state‑mandated inspections, perform oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and carry out any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. One year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. State inspection license preferred. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, and reach repeatedly and repetitively while performing vehicle and tire maintenance.
