Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital, established in 1989, is a small animal practice located just outside of Frederick, Maryland. We provide comprehensive services that include wellness and preventive care, as well as on-site supportive services include pet boarding, professional grooming services, and dog training classes for every level of skill and handling.

Veterinary Student Externship

Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital is searching for a new graduate or experienced general practice veterinarian to join our 4 doctor team! We are a mixed animal practice located just outside of Frederick, Maryland. A variety of schedule set-ups for veterinary externs.

• Small animal general practice exclusive
• Small animal + canine rehabilitation
• Mixed animal (predominantly small)
• Mixed animal (predominantly small) + canine rehabilitation

Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital is surrounded by beautiful rolling farmland but is very close to Frederick/Baltimore and Washington D.C. Enjoy affordable land and outdoor activities with the option to experience big city amenities within a reasonable drive. The downtown Buckeystown area is charming and has several quality restaurants and shops.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA accredited Veterinary School (VMD or DVM degree path)
