Traveling Mechanical Project Manager Lead Complex Projects Across the U.S. Are you a Mechanical Project Manager who thrives on challenging commercial and industrial projects? What You'll Do Lead commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects from award through final completion. Coordinate daily with engineering, VDC/BIM, field leadership, customers, vendors, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule. Review drawings, specifications, contracts, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders while ensuring project documentation remains accurate. Order equipment and materials, issue purchase orders and subcontracts, and oversee project buyout activities. Manage fabrication work packages, material takeoffs, production schedules, and fabrication budgets. Partner closely with the Safety Department to ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards. Lead project closeout activities, including commissioning support, punch lists, turnover documentation, and final billing. What We're Looking For 1-3+ years of experience managing commercial or industrial mechanical construction projects. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, process piping, mechanical systems, and construction practices. Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules. Proficiency with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Travel Schedule This is a traveling position supporting projects throughout the United States. Travel to project sites nationwide. Work approximately six 10-hour shifts per week while assigned to a project. Return home every 3-4 weeks for 2-3 days. Company travel package provided.
