Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Family: Software Development & Support Travel Required: Up to 10% Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do The Full-Stack Developer will work closely with clients, digital leaders, solutions architects, and technical/functional leads across Guidehouse digital teams and market segments to support client projects and provide solutions for growth efforts and capabilities build‑out. Serve as a key member of the modernization team to support technical challenges and demos, building innovative solution prototypes using cloud architectures and software technologies. Provide solutions architecture and hands‑on engineering/full‑stack development of scalable and secure distributed systems using modern software technologies and programming, Cloud Native and microservices architecture, containerization, and API‑First design patterns. Work collaboratively with user experience designers, platform engineers, product owners, solution architects, and business analysts to design, build, test, and deploy high‑value, operationally resilient software products on the AWS cloud platform that satisfy functional and non‑functional requirements. Qualifications Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder. Must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD “PUBLIC TRUST”; candidates with an active PUBLIC TRUST or suitability are preferred. Bachelor’s degree required, or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Minimum of six (6) years of prior relevant experience in full‑stack application development. Minimum of three (3) years of experience with cloud applications development to build/modernize applications and datasets on the AWS cloud. Experience and proficiency in implementing frontend and backend services for cloud‑native software products and solutions such as Python, JavaScript, Django and Vue.JS. Alternatives: Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, SQLAlchemy, React, Svelte, Angular (v1.6+). Proven ability to work autonomously, collaborate, mentor, help, and support other team members to solve complex technical problems. Proven ability to develop software products and solution prototypes and use prototypes to validate technical solution strategies. In‑depth understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles, with experience. Experienced Agile practitioner with proven ability to plan and implement software products with agility. Nice to Have AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications. Experience with Flask, Docker, EKS/Kubernetes, AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Elasticsearch, Redis, Memcached, Amazon RDS/Postgres, or MongoDB. Familiarity with AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM) and proven design patterns such as Model‑View‑Controller. Experience delivering cloud‑based software products using contemporary CI/CD pipeline tooling and DevSecOps practices.
