Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-obsessed, and systems-minded Senior Platform Engineer to join our core centralized engineering group in a full-time 100% remote capacity open exclusively to qualified platform professionals resident within Brazil or Portugal. Operating at the infrastructure-level foundation of our high-volume software delivery engine, you will step up to claim true individual strategic and operational accountability for designing, maintaining, and automating scalable cloud resources across our enterprise AWS environments. Shifting completely away from routine software template skinning, simple local server scripting, basic back-office data logging, or disconnected application deployment clicking, you will run an active cloud engineering lab—partnering face-to-face with technical leads, principal engineers, and distributed product squads to eliminate system bottlenecks. This position requires an enterprise tech or high-concurrency cloud systems veteran who maps out declarative infrastructure blocks fluidly natively using DevOps workflows, develops low-overhead operational tooling smoothly natively using Node.js or Python runtime automations, and commands rigid security access controls confidently under rapid agile development iterations.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Tenant AWS Cloud Architecture Engineering: Design, deploy, and refine high-performance infrastructure improvements across distributed AWS environments, writing highly structured declarative modules cleanly natively utilizing DevOps automation practices.
• Modular Terraform Formulation: Author and manage enterprise-scale Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) architectures using Terraform, adhering strictly to established module layout patterns and rigorous engineering validation standards.
• Low-Latency Serverless Automation Tooling: Program, maintain, and optimize custom runtime automations, service triggers, and internal scripts smoothly natively leveraging Node.js or Python environments to compound developer delivery speed.
• Security-by-Default Perimeter Governance: Implement and enforce rigid cloud security protections across all accounts, configuring infrastructure elements to strictly follow least-privilege access criteria and data-boundary insulation primitives.
• CI/CD Pipeline Systemization: Integrate, audit, and scale automated testing, platform validation, and continuous code deployment activities across Git-based workflows (specifically leveraging GitHub Actions platforms).
• Advanced Identity and Access Management: Construct and supervise complex access topologies, managing AWS IAM profiles, multi-account cluster separations, and secure service-to-service authentication loops using OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocols.
• Global Content Delivery Network Optimization: Scale and harden edge caching, layer-7 firewalls, and caching variables by managing AWS CloudFront, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and CDN technologies natively leveraging DevOps principles.
• Platform Reliability and Triage: Monitor system telemetry configurations daily, proactively isolating deployment risks, troubleshooting runtime infrastructure anomalies, and eliminating delivery blockers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of verified professional history running advanced platform engineering, cloud-native systems architecture, infrastructure-as-code scripting, site reliability coordination, or technical cloud consulting.
• Mandatory Amazon Web Services Sourcing Mastery: Proven, hands-on production history managing high-throughput cloud resources explicitly using AWS technologies, requiring direct experience with Amazon ECS clusters, AWS Lambda microservices, IAM structures, and CloudFront.
• Expert-tier capability writing reusable code layers, managing runtime configurations, and automating service infrastructure natively utilizing DevOps playbooks (explicitly requiring advanced Terraform mastery).
• Practical operational familiarity organizing asynchronous logic loops, compiling server-side modules, and parsing JSON streams natively using Node.js or Python scripting.
• Demonstrated capability working independently within fast-paced agile development frameworks, managing complex technical deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication attributes in fluent, business-grade English to easily coordinate across an international stakeholder community spanning Europe and South America.
