DC Administrator

Job Details: Job Location: McDonough, GA 30253, Position Type: Full Time, Job Shift: Day shift 8 hours, Job Summary The DC Administrator is responsible for the daily processing of shipments in the warehouse. This role involves handling system processing in ERP systems, managing all logistic paperwork, and ensuring the accurate shipment of orders. The DC administrator will coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and precise picking and shipping of orders, manage delivery appointments, and liaise with Supervisors, Truck Drivers and the Customer Experience team to prioritize tasks and ensure a seamless workflow. Operations Execute system processing for all shipments with ERP daily. Ensure accurate data entry in picking, loading and confirming shipments for each order. Manage all logistic paperwork associated with shipments for the driver and within the ERP system. Ensure all documentation is accurate and in compliance with customer requirements. Work closely with the warehouse team and verify that orders are scanned, picked, and loaded onto trailers correctly. Communicate effectively during shift changes and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure seamless continuation of the picking and shipping of orders. Provide clear instructions and schedules to the warehouse teams to optimize workflow. Manage daily drivers with inbound and outbound delivery appointments. Ensure drivers are checked in on time and delivery schedules are adhered to. Report out to supervisors and the booking team to ensure workload completion. Work closely with the customer experience team on any orders that are at risk and shift customer priority accordingly. Address any direct customer impacting issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. Safety Complies with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory requirements. Reports conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards. Attends scheduled EH&S training programs. Actively supports the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans. Recommends improved EH&S practices. Practices safe work habits and follows general safety procedures such as proper lifting and bending, ergonomics, proper use of equipment and the use of personal protection equipment (PPE). Ensures that all fall protection procedures are strictly adhered to including but not limited to the use of harnesses, platform ladders, railings, lifts, etc. Ensures lockout procedures are followed any time the equipment is being cleaned or maintained Product Safety and Quality Follows Product Safety and Quality standards. Follows GMP’s in regard to food contact packaging as it pertains to the employee. Follows IPC product defense standards and complies with all SQF requirements. Qualifications High School diploma or general education degree (GED). One to two years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. The willingness and ability to be trained in company specific computer systems. Must be able to independently manage multiple assignments simultaneously and work under minimal supervision. An ability to maintain a high level of detail and accuracy in completing all tasks and providing direction to others, while ensuring processes and documentation are meticulously managed. Capability to solve problems and implement solutions through company processes and common sense, in a real-time shipping environment.
