Position Overview Our client, a healthcare practice in Wilmington, Delaware, is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis in August. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while supporting daily front office operations. This position is ideal for someone with prior medical office experience who enjoys working in a patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients in a courteous and professional manner.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
Answer incoming calls and assist with general patient inquiries.
Perform general administrative and clerical duties to support office operations.
Maintain patient records through filing, scanning, and faxing documents.
Ensure front desk areas remain organized and professional.
Assist staff with additional administrative tasks as needed.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Previous medical office or healthcare administration experience is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professional demeanor with a patient-focused approach to customer service.
Proficiency with standard office equipment and computer applications.
