Job Overview Scientists in the Immunogenicity and Molecular Bioanalytics team within Pre‑Clinical Development Regulated Bioanalytical support the vaccine and biologic therapeutic area through assay development, optimization, qualification/validation, pre‑clinical and clinical testing. The role supports the early‑development vaccine team and requires a comprehensive understanding of immunology principles as they apply to bioanalytical method development and clinical testing. The candidate will help design experiments, evaluate new techniques, leverage robotic systems, optimize and troubleshoot assays, qualify/validate methods, and test clinical samples as needed. The Scientist works collaboratively in a fast‑paced regulated environment to modernize vaccine clinical assays. Responsibilities Generate quality experimental data to support assay development, validation, and clinical studies. Troubleshoot assay issues and optimize assay performance. Ensure robust experimental design and execution. Analyze and interpret data using appropriate statistical tools. Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and documentation quality to comply with regulatory standards. Adhere to GLP, GCLP, and BSL regulations. Leverage automation and digital tools to enhance lab efficiency. Provide clear and concise scientific writing and presentation of findings. Collaborate with team members and cross‑functional stakeholders to create a high‑performance scientific environment. Qualifications Master’s degree in biochemistry, molecular/cellular biology, life science, or a related field; or a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Experience executing routine immunoassays for antibody responses or neutralizing antibody assays, including Luminex, Mesoscale, ELISA, virus neutralization, or plaque assays. Experience with molecular and/or cell‑based assays. Expertise in complex experiments, following regulated procedures, data analysis, and thorough documentation. Demonstrated interest in scientific background and laboratory experimentation. Strong verbal and written communication skills with organizational capabilities. Collaborative teamwork experience. Preferred Experience and Skills Familiarity with liquid handlers and other automation platforms for sample preparation and assay process. Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DoE), assay qualification/validation for regulated vaccine or bioanalytical assays. Experience with GxP as it applies to regulated bioanalysis. Use of electronic laboratory notebooks. The position is eligible for an annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
