Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care for labor and delivery patients, managing high-risk cases and collaborating with the care team.

Monitor and manage labor progressions and adjust interventions as necessary.

Perform C-sections and handle postpartum care with professionalism and expertise.

Utilize and maintain labor and delivery equipment, such as Alaris pumps and telemetry.

Document and report patient conditions using Meditech/CPN EMR systems accurately and efficiently.

Engage in self-scheduling to meet unit staffing needs and participate in a collaborative team nursing approach.

Qualifications

Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience required.

Active BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN certifications required.

Proven ability to circulate in C-section procedures preferred.

High-risk labor and delivery room experience is advantageous.

Skilled in managing oxytocin and other induction procedures effectively.

Compassionate, patient-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
