Diversicare Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist who specializes in mood disorders. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while making a profound impact on the lives of individuals dealing with mental health challenges. As a key member of our outpatient office team, you will provide essential mental health services to clients navigating various mood disorders.

Work Environment\nThe position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring a strong connection with clients through virtual platforms. Utilizing a modern outpatient model, our therapists engage with clients in their own spaces, fostering comfortable and effective therapeutic relationships. We promote a work-life balance with scheduled hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts rotated among the team to accommodate client needs.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment. \n
- Collaborate closely with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals, preferences, and life circumstances. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address the specific needs of each client. \n
- Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, enhancing their understanding and participation in the recovery process. \n
- Track and monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure they are achieving their goals. \n
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated and holistic care, ensuring comprehensive support for clients. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development by staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential records of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights, best practices, and strategies that contribute to effective treatment. \n
- Advocate for clients within the community, working to de-stigmatize mental health challenges and elevate awareness of available resources. \n
Your therapeutic expertise will play a vital role as you assist individuals grappling with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Working with a diverse range of clients means that cultural competence and sensitivity are essential to building strong therapeutic alliances. You will provide support and guidance through the challenges these clients face, helping them navigate their emotional landscapes towards healthier outcomes.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Florida. \n
- At least two years of post-licensure experience with a specialization in mood disorders is preferred. \n
- In-depth knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, and an understanding of psychopharmacology. \n
- A proven track record of success in treating mood disorders, demonstrating effective outcomes. \n
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients from a range of backgrounds and experiences. \n

- Experience in using teletherapy platforms and familiarity with virtual therapeutic practices. \n
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. \n
- Participation in community outreach initiatives focused on mental health education and advocacy. \n
