The ideal candidate will possess a high level of expertise in various surgical specialties, including joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular. This is a vital role aimed at delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Job Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate procedures and promote optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrate proficiency in various surgical techniques and technologies. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols. Participate in patient education and support preoperative and postoperative care. Qualifications Must possess a skill level of 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular procedures. A broad knowledge of surgical practices and experience in multiple service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Current nursing license in the state of North Carolina. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Work Environment The position involves working in a busy operating room setting, with a patient care ratio of 1:1. Responsibilities may include floating to different departments as necessary, and a variable schedule with on-call duties is required. Additional Information Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
