Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy
- Hold a license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- Proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing of services
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient mobility
- Basic computer skills, including EMR
Responsibilities
- Implement patient rehabilitation programs to enhance mobility, function, and strength
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with rehabilitation protocols
- Maintain patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Supervise PT Assistants and Aides in patient care
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
- Engage in business marketing and referral processes as needed
- Adhere to HIPAA policies and protect patient privacy
