Description: Schedule requirements: Hours are 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday. Candidate will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the clinical fit is satisfactory and within guidelines, the candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be conducted on a case-by-case basis. Manager will conduct interviews. The facility may care for COVID patients. It is a tobacco and fragrance-free facility. The following skills are required: Adult acute care, custom molds, custom shields, tumor localization, block cutting, B-mode acquisition targeting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging. Knowledge of compensation filters, portal cast, wedges, and calculating the dose of radiation is necessary. Familiarity with Pinnacle (Philips) and Eclipse (Varian) is essential. Experience in external beam therapy and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) is required. Candidates should be proficient in lift/transfer devices and isolation precautions/PPE. Understanding of radiation safety and use of rapid response/code teams is necessary. Patient care will primarily involve adult age groups. Daily census is approximately 65-70. No weekend coverage or floating required. Candidate must have an associated degree from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
