Union Lake is a new facility that will be opening January/February 2027. Opportunity Details FTE: 1.0 Schedule: Varied hours Monday-Saturday Location: Union Lake This position includes rounding and performing surgical procedures at Trinity Health Oakland. The facility offers Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby services, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Prioritizing Internal Growth and Advancement -We are committed to promoting from within, offering abundant opportunities for career advancement and fostering a culture that empowers employees to thrive Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package: Competitive salary + incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plans (403b & 457) Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility Short- & long-term disability coverage Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Requirements Completion of a medical degree (MD or DO) Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology Physicians must be board certified or board eligible Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain) DEA license ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained) Womens Health Experience preferred Duties & Responsibilities A typical day may include: Providing comprehensive well woman care, including preventive visits, screenings, and counseling across the lifespan Managing a full spectrum of gynecologic concerns such as abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, menopausal symptoms, and vulvovaginal conditions Offering patient-centered family planning counseling and education Performing in-office procedures such as pap smears, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, and other gynecologic procedures based on practice scope Providing prenatal and obstetric care across a range of pregnancy needs, including routine and higher acuity patients as appropriate to the practice Collaborating with APPs, nursing, and support staff to ensure high quality, efficient patient care and clinic flow Providing clinical guidance and support to APP colleagues as appropriate Reviewing and managing labs, imaging, and patient communications with timely follow up Educating patients on preventive care, pregnancy expectations, and treatment options to support informed decision making Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record Participating in team huddles and coordinating care across the practice
