We are a behavioral health company solely committed to serving healthier aging by taking an evidence-based approach to mental health and aging.The OpportunityTotal Life is hiring a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in California to provide virtual individual and group therapy. We are looking for clinicians with demonstrated experience supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, loneliness, life transitions, and medication or pain management. This remote role offers a meaningful opportunity to join a growing group practice, with potential for professional growth and supplemental income.Your Role / ResponsibilitiesProvide virtual individual and/or group therapyUtilize psychotherapy and evidence-based approaches to improve outcomesSupport seniors (age 65+) with mental health and related needsRequirementsMust have a valid Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Counselor (LPC) or Mental Health Counselor license in the state of CaliforniaAt least two years of clinical experience, post-licensure conducting psychotherapy utilizing CBT, DBT and other solution-focused approachesMust have experience working with clients who are age 65+Must possess and provide proof of professional liability insurance/malpractice insurance or obtain a policy prior to hire; maintain current liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 claim limit/$3,000,000 aggregateMust have an active NPIMust be available to start with a minimum of 10 hours per weekMust be comfortable utilizing technology and providing teletherapyExisting credentialing with Medicare is a plusCAQH credentialing already set up is a plusMust be able to pass a criminal background checkBenefitsCompensation$55-$70 per session based on experience and credentialsPerksCompetitive pay and incentivesOpportunities for growthFlexible scheduleSchedulePart-time or full-time positions availableOptions for Monday–Friday and weekend availabilityLocationRemote – Licensed in the state of CaliforniaWe welcome applicants even if you do not meet every criteria and invite you to apply.
