Production Operator – 3rd ShiftSchedule: Sunday evening to Friday morning, 10:45 PM – 7:15 AMPay: Starting at $22/hour (for candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience)Shift Premium: Additional $1.50/hourPosition OverviewSeeking an experienced Production Operator to support extrusion, mixing, and packaging operations on the 3rd shift. This role ensures safe and efficient equipment operation, maintains quality standards, and supports production goals with minimal downtime.Key ResponsibilitiesExtrusionOperate production equipment safely and efficientlyPerform equipment startups, shutdowns, and changeoversSet up and run machines per established guidelines and customer requirementsMonitor and adjust controls to maintain product qualityClean, remove, and reinstall die heads as neededMixingSet up and operate mixers for blending materials (resins, pigments, chemicals)Verify and prepare raw materialsLoad materials into mixer per batch instructionsMeasure, weigh, and inspect materialsPrint and manage barcoded labelsPackagingPackage and store finished productsPerform inventory checks on packaging suppliesEnsure proper labeling, sample collection, and product conformityGeneralFollow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standardsSubmit corrective/preventative action requests as neededMaintain a clean and organized work areaPerform additional duties as assigned by the Shift SupervisorQualifications & SkillsMinimum 3 years of experience in compounding or similar production environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAuthorized to work in the U.S.Forklift licenseProficient in operating extruders, mixers, packing machineryFamiliar with units of measurement (SI units, Celsius, pressure units, etc.)Basic math, reading, and computer skillsAbility to work overtime as neededStrong communication skills, reliability, and a positive attitudeBenefitsMedical, dental, vision coverage starting Day 1Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)401(k) with employer matchPaid vacation, holidays, and time offNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
