PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Inpatient Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

Work schedule is M-F with the occasional Saturday.

Join the interdisciplinary team on the inpatient rehabilitation unit, with the possibility of floating to the med-surge unit. You will be collaborating with other professionals including a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), and Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The role involves direct patient care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating patients and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve patient mobility.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
