The ideal candidate must have forklift experience, reliable transportation, and a strong attendance record. The most important qualities for this position are being dependable, arriving on time every day, and having your own transportation.Job ResponsibilitiesPick boxes using a pallet jack to build skids for customer orders.Organize and prepare fittings for shipment.Learn the initial picking process, which should take approximately a couple of days.Once trained, transition into the primary area where additional warehouse support is needed.Pick individual items by the piece according to customer orders.Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely.Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse.Verify items and quantities for accuracy.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines.Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.QualificationsForklift experience required.Previous warehouse experience preferred.Ability to operate a pallet jack.Ability to lift and move boxes and materials.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to learn new processes quickly.Dependable and punctual with excellent attendance.Must have reliable personal transportation.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to perform both palletized and piece-picking work.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, hardworking, and ready to learn.
