Location Oconomowoc, WI 53066 About The Job A Professional Yard Driver is responsible for safely moving and backing semi trailers at a major distribution center, ensuring smooth operation. The Ideal Candidate Must have experience driving and backing 53' semi trailers, with prior yard driving experience and capability to back into tight spots. Strong time-management, attention to detail, calm under pressure, physical fitness, and a safety mindset are essential. Skills Required Safely maneuver 53' semi trailers: backing and pulling trailers to/from dock doors and parking them on site. Safely enter and exit a switcher truck multiple times per hour. Place and remove wheel chocks and Salvo locks, lift and open doors. No loading/unloading of merchandise. Follow safety procedures. No CDL required but must have 53' trailer experience. Shift Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 6:00 AM-4:00 PM. Benefits Full-time work. Overtime after 40 hours, paid at time and a half. Consistent schedule; work at home daily - never leave the yard. Medical / Dental / Vision / Life insurance. Paid holidays and vacation. 401(k) with company contribution. Pay $22/hour starting pay based on shift. Pay increase after 90 days and after 1 year of employment based on performance/attendance. Requirements Must be at least 18. Valid driver’s license.
