Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) technician position located in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing specialized support in a cardiac catheterization laboratory environment, with responsibilities including monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing for cardiac procedures. The position requires flexibility to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units, ensuring seamless patient care and operational efficiency.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/Phlebotomy experience; active Iowa or multistate license; American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications; Driver's License; experience with monitoring and scrubbing in Cardiac Cath Lab; willingness to float across campuses; precepting as needed
• Preferred Qualifications: Structural Heart experience; Electrophysiology (EP) experience; travel experience; scrubbing experience; circulating monitoring experience
• Holiday Schedule: Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
• Orientation Dates: 07/27/2026, 08/03/2026, 08/10/2026, 08/17/2026
• Additional Information: Candidate must have 24 months of recent Cardiac Cath/CCL experience, with skills specific to cardiac procedures. Must be able to complete all required certifications and pass performance evaluations. The role includes on-call responsibilities, with scheduled nights and every third weekend.
