The Restaurant Utility Worker plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen environment. Working as an integral part of the kitchen staff team, this role typically involves shifts of 4-6 hours and supports the overall operations by ensuring the workspace remains sanitary and organized.
Responsibilities
- Clean dining and kitchen areas thoroughly
- Wash dishes and kitchen utensils efficiently
- Remove trash and maintain waste disposal areas
- Occasionally bust tables and load dishwashers behind bars
- Mop and sweep floors, clean bathrooms and maintain cleanliness throughout the entire restaurant
- Must be available on weekend evenings
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in restaurant operations
- Knowledge of kitchen safety practices
- Effective time management skills
- Demonstrated reliability and teamwork
- Physical stamina to perform tasks efficiently
