Operating Partner

Goal: To ensure every guest experience is seamless by removing stressors that hinder the delivery of high-quality food and drinks with exceptional service. Success in this role will be measured by guest satisfaction, effective execution of FOH and BOH training programs, proper staffing, cost of goods and direct labor management, ticket times, employee retention, restaurant cleanliness, health and sanitation compliance, safety, check-count and check-average growth, and by cultivating a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, and productivity across both management and staff.

Responsibilities:  

• Ensuring a quality customer experience while overseeing staff development and food/beverage quality 

• Cultivate a sales force among service team members, aligning your store with company sales growth initiatives and steps of service expectations 

• Care for our customers by ensuring every guest receives an excellent and seamless experience.

• Promote and uphold company standards by maintaining consistent operating procedures and high performance expectations.

• Coordinate with and oversee managers on hiring, onboarding, and new hire processes 

• Collaborate with the management team on team knowledge of health and sanitation awareness 

• Drive growth and value creation by expanding into new communities and elevating brand presence.

• Coordinate, schedule, and lead weekly leadership team meetings, review performance metrics and set store-specific goals 

• Manage costs responsibly to create opportunities for reinvestment in our people, our stores, and the customer experience.

• Develop and share individual operational improvement plans with your kitchen and service manager 

• Ensure all daily and weekly administrative tasks are completed timely and accurately, offering coaching and additional support to managers where needed 

• Foster a culture of leadership by modeling defined leadership principles, encouraging accountability, and inspiring problem-solving.

• Complete and contribute to manager evaluations while overseeing the timely completion and submission of employee evals/rate increases 

• Continued development of your management team on leadership skills that align with company values 

• Cultivate teamwork and productivity by building a positive management and employee culture centered on collaboration and mutual care. 

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of management experience with preference given to GM-level experience  

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant with a full-service bar  

• Knowledge of or certification in safe food handling procedures 

• Knowledge of or certification in safe alcohol and bar procedures 

• Experience leading, training, and mentoring a diverse team of managers and staff 

• Proven record of exercising good judgment and effort to continuously improve operations 

• A positive upbeat personality, capable of inspiring others  

• Basic business match and computer literacy 

Work Environment:  

• This position is full-time, 50 hours, exempt salaried 

• This position is 100% in-person 

• This position reports directly to the Director of Operations  

• Compensation plans that are aligned with achievements across four key domains: People, Quality, Resources, and Growth

• Annual Incentive Opportunity of $25,000 – Eligible for $6,250, per quarter
