Emergency Medicine Physician (Per Diem)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)is adding an Emergency Medicine Physician to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health .  South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care, to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with  SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and  NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Opportunity Details:

• Modern, fully renovated Emergency Department within the new Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital building (opened 2023).
• Designated Level II Trauma Center with over 90,000 annual ED visits.
• Comprehensive on-site services including advanced imaging, trauma surgery, neurology, cardiology, and ICU support.
• Strong culture of collaboration between Emergency Medicine, nursing, and consulting services.
• Flexible schedule available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School.
• Completion of an ABMS Approved Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program.
• Board certified or the ability to become board certified within 5 years of hire.
• Active, unrestricted NYS License.
• Experience attending to an under-served population preferred.

Hourly Rate: $186.84* per hour
