Precision Forming Lead — CNC Press Brake (Level II/III)
Department: Operations
Type: Full-time
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Do you love turning complex prints into flawless bends? Are you the go-to person when a setup must run right, right away? Join us as a senior press brake expert who safeguards quality from first piece to final run and lifts the skills of the entire team.
Your mission- Own end-to-end CNC press brake setups: programming, tooling selection, and optimization
- Digest intricate blueprints, job travelers, and work instructions with ease
- Calculate bend allowances and refine setups for accuracy and throughput
- Confirm specs using precision gauges and keen visual inspections
- Stage materials, complete clear job documentation, and keep schedules on track
- Train and mentor Level I/II operators; model safe, reliable methods
- Maintain a neat, safe, and audit-ready workspace
- First-pass approvals with consistent part-to-part repeatability
- Independent troubleshooting of forming issues and root-cause fixes
- Strong communication with production to meet delivery goals
- Advanced CNC press brake setup/operation
- Sharp mechanical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail
- Hands-on problem solving under real production timelines
- 5+ years in metal fabrication or related manufacturing preferred (more is even better)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Standing and walking for the shift
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity and high visual accuracy
