About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit. License: Active Registered Nurse license. Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Must-Have: Must have 2 years of Emergency Department or ICU experience. First-timers accepted if all requirements are met. Description: The primary responsibility is to support pain procedures, preparation, and recovery procedures. The role requires the ability to work 4x10 hours from 07:00 to 17:30. On-call, holiday, and weekend requirements are part of this position. Every third weekend of 12-hour shifts in the department is expected, but it may vary depending on vacation. The nurse will respond to urgent and emergent procedural needs. This includes conditions like Code Stroke, STEMI, Trauma, Interventional Body, and recovering from sedation/anesthesia. The position requires the ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs, including Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional procedures. Additional qualifications include proficiency in various medical skills, including but not limited to end-tidal CO2 monitoring, central line insertion, cardiac stent placement, and procedural sedation administration. The nurse will also be required to monitor and assist with various interventional procedures. Previous charge experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. The candidate must be willing to comply with call requirements and float as necessary. Overall, this position requires a skilled registered nurse eager to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic interventional radiology environment.
