Responsibilities & Opportunities

\n

\n
• Lead and mentor associates as they complete audits and reviews
\n
• Assist in the management and development of associates through the execution of assurance tasks
\n
• Review other team members’ work and provide valuable feedback
\n
• Build technical skills while working across various industries
\n
• Regularly collaborate with shareholders, managers, and other internal leaders
\n
• Understand the firm’s lines of service to provide a holistic service plan to each client
\n
• Manage the engagement team on-site at client locations
\n
• Work directly with controllers, CFOs, and business owners to ensure assurance engagements are completed within a predetermined timeframe
\n
• Participate in various training and CPE programs to ensure professional development
\n
• Travel is expected, as needed, to meet firm and client needs
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 3+ years of experience providing assurance services in public accounting
\n
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or a related field
\n
• Must possess the necessary credit hours to be eligible for CPA licensure
\n
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
\n
• Experience with Microsoft 365 with a strong understanding of Excel and Word
\n
• Ability to address requests from clients and the firm in a timely, precise, and professional manner
\n
• Ability to foster client relationships across various industries
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills
\n
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Effective in both independent work and team collaboration
\n
• Ability to consistently perform services with integrity, reliability, and accuracy
\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• CPA designation
\n
• 1+ years of proven supervisory or mentor experience
\n
• Manufacturing, construction, distribution, real estate, or other related industry experience
\n
• Passion for being a technical resource for team members
\n
• Strong project management skills and a desire to drive process improvement
\n
• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Zoom
\n
• CCH accounting software experience, including Workflow, Engagement, and Practice Management
\n

Individual salaries are determined based on multiple factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
