Road Service Mechanic

Waste Connections Eastern Region

Waste Connections is hiring a Road Service Mechanic to perform field maintenance and repair on a fleet of waste collection trucks and heavy equipment. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, complete roadside repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe, timely return to service. The role includes using diagnostic tools, maintaining accurate service records, and communicating with drivers and dispatch. You’ll work independently in varying weather conditions while upholding strict safety, environmental, and DOT standards in a fast-paced, customer-focused operation.
