Winchester Health and Rehab | Winchester, VA Pay: $15.00-$15.50 per hour based on experience Winchester Health and Rehab. is looking for a dependable and caring Dietary Aide to join our team! If you enjoy working with people and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, we would love to have you on our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and serving meals to residents
- Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals
- Deliver meals and trays to residents as needed
- Assist with serving meals according to resident diets and preferences
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Keep the kitchen, dining areas, and workspaces clean and organized
- Assist with stocking food and supplies
- Work closely with the Dietary Manager, Cook, and dietary team
- Provide friendly and respectful service to residents
- Follow all facility policies and food service guidelines
- Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred
- Long-term care experience is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and dietary requirements
- Reliable and dependable
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to interact professionally and compassionately with residents
