Desktop Support Technician I

Desktop Support Tech
Location: 101 Crawfords Corner Rd. NJ 07733 Pay Rate: $25 - $30/HR
Primary day-to-day responsibilities will entail creating and resolving desktop issues for First Energy employees onsite and remotely.
Primary duties will include standard desktop/laptop break/fix items. Candidate must be detailed and process oriented, able to work independently following detailed steps and be able to document troubleshooting steps taken and maintain daily ServiceNow ticket status.
General daily tasks:
- Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support.
- Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications.
- Management and installation of equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, and videoconference).
- Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided ServiceNow tool.
Top 2 required skills that candidates must have: Great Customer Service, Desktop Support (Win10 and Office 365).
Work schedule for this position: (M-F) 8am-4:30pm. Overtime? No. On-call? No. Overall years of experience should be 12-24 months Enterprise Desktop Support.
Specific certifications or education: CompTIA A+ is good to have but not required.
If contract to hire, conversion rate is $30 - $32/HR.
