Advanced Care Technician CnaWe are seeking a compassionate Advanced Care Technician (ACT-Float) to support nursing staff by providing essential patient care and comfort. This role involves assisting patients across various age groups, including infants, emergency pediatric, and adult populations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe and clean environment adhering to unit safety and infection control standards.Deliver comfort measures and assist with patients' daily needs, including meal assistance.Record and report vital signs such as temperature, pulse, weight, and monitor daily input and output.Clean and prepare medical equipment, reporting any issues promptly.Assist with patient transport as needed.Prepare formula in the NICU department when required.QualificationsACT: Preferred 3-6 months experience in an acute care setting.ACT-Float: Preferred 1 year of acute care experience.NICU Department: Required minimum 2 years CNA experience with strong pediatric background preferred.Basic computer proficiency is necessary.Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.Familiarity with electronic charting is a plus.EducationMust hold one or more of the following upon hire: Current Certified Nurse Assistant CertificationLicensed Vocational Nurse licenseMilitary Corpsman experienceNursing student who has completed fundamentals including initial assessment and vital signsCertificationCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification required within 90 days for specific departments.Completion of at least 10 continuing education hours related to work annually in lieu of licensure maintenance.All candidates must successfully pass a physical exam, drug screening, and background check prior to employment.Join a dedicated team providing vital healthcare services in a regional healthcare setting within the Pacific Northwest.
