Fork Lift Operator

Requirements:

Maneuvering forklifts safely in a busy manufacturing environment
Moving material and other items between storage, manufacturing and shipping areas
Transport material to production workstations
Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of material onto shelves or pallets
Loading and unloading deliveries and relocating the goods to designated areas
Ensuring that operating areas are free from spills and obstructions
Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages and reporting them
Using wraps and pallets to safely stack goods for transport
Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures

Requirements:

Minimum five years of experience in forklift operation
Must be motivated, prompt, reliable and ready to work independently and responsibly
Ability to work overtime when needed
Ability to perform minimum lifting (up to 50 lbs)
Ability to bend, squat and crouch
Must be able to pass a fitness for duty test

Compensation & Benefits:

$17 - $20/hour based on experience
