Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct the restaurant operations: schedule work assignments, set priorities, direct the workflow of staff
• Give clear directions and communication to crew members
• Ensure all operational/safety procedures are followed: audits, temperature checks and required record keeping
• Process comps/voids/discounts using the Shift Leader approval procedures
• Ability to step in to any position
• Effectively resolve customer complaints or issues
• Resolve/document employee issues for management following guidelines
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and some holidays

Skills Required:

• Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Ability to supervise employees in a positive and respectful manner
• Customer service mindset and ability to effectively communicate with unhappy customers/employees
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to handle difficult situations and persons in a positive and professional manner
• Advanced oral and written communication skills with the ability to write job-related items in a clear, precise manner

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will be a proven leader in the fast food, family dining or casual dining environment
• We are looking for a minimum of 6 months to one year of experience as a Shift Leader
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
• Must be 18 or older to apply
