Fortis Motion LLC is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate team in Santa Rosa, California. In this full-time, onsite role, you will play a crucial part in helping children from birth to adolescence achieve their physical therapy goals. Work Environment

Our facility, located within a hospital setting in Santa Rosa, California, offers a supportive and dynamic atmosphere for both staff and patients. As a Pediatric PTA, you will collaborate closely with licensed Physical Therapists in a safe, inclusive environment designed for children of all abilities. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life while ensuring access to essential therapy services for our young clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate care to pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans, proactively addressing each child's unique needs to enhance their strength, mobility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize creative, play-based techniques to engage children during therapy sessions, ensuring that exercises are enjoyable and tailored to their interests.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and track progress in collaboration with supervising PTs, leveraging this data to refine treatment strategies as necessary.
• Work in partnership with families, providing guidance and support on home exercise programs to reinforce the benefits of therapy and ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to a positive clinic culture that promotes a safe and inclusive space for children of diverse abilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work directly with a diverse patient population, including infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents. Your focus will be on addressing developmental delays, physical challenges due to injury or congenital conditions, and fostering abilities crucial for daily living and play. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a PTA in California.
