Realty Specialist

Job Duties
Help
Issues invitations for bids or proposals and composes advertising copy for newspapers and periodicals.
Negotiates leases at civil works projects for commercial concession purposes with private investors.
Enters into cost-sharing contracts with states, counties, or cities to share the cost of recreational development on leased sites.
Provides technical guidance and assistance on all real estate matters, including leasing, licensing, permitting, and granting of rights-of-way on government-owned lands.
Monitors actions taken by the sponsor to ensure project-required real estate is provided within the scheduled time frame.
Responsible for the quality and technical management of real estate products consistent with the Initial Project Management Plan (IPMP) and Project Management Plan (PMP)
Manages outgrants and disposal of government-owned lands on civil works and military properties, including resolving encroachments.
As a Team Member for Continuing Authority Projects, manages the preparation of Real Estate Division input for various reports and agreements.
