Lead Teacher

Facility: Cox Learning Center, Branson, Missouri, 1192 Bird Rd, Branson, Missouri 65616. Department: 1458 Learning Center Branson. Schedule: 40 hours per week, rotating shift. Job Summary A Lead Teacher is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment and promoting the positive development of all children. Responsibilities Plan, direct, and coordinate academic and non‑academic activities for children in care. Carry out learning objectives for all age groups. Greet parents and children at drop‑off and pick‑up. Ensure daily tasks are completed accurately and timely, including diaper/potty training, laundry, table and chair cleaning, diapering/toileting area sanitation before and after use, cleaning toys at naptime and shift end, and restocking supplies. Maintain state‑mandated child‑to‑staff ratios and comply with all state, federal, and accrediting regulations. Qualifications Education: None required. Experience: 1–2 years related experience in early childhood education or child care. Skills: Excellent customer service, time‑management, interpersonal, communication, organization, prioritization, decision‑making, and planning skills. Ability to perform under stressful conditions, especially during high‑volume drop‑off and pick‑up periods. Certifications and Requirements Health screening required. Annual clearance from the Family Care Safety Registry. Annual TB test required. Minimum age: 18 years. Initial T‑dap immunization, licensure, certification, or registration required.
