Medical Assistant Certified

Job Description

We are an allergist office looking for a part time medical assistant to travel between our two locations. We are located in Crown Point and Valparaiso, Indiana. Applicant must be willing to travel. Currently we have a part time position available that could potentially lead to a full time position in the near future.

Benefits will include:

After 1 year employment, you will receive 2 weeks paid vacation

All major holidays are paid

No weekends

IRA plan up to 3% match

Job Duties include but not limited to:

Patient Vitals

Patient triage

EHR documenting

Medication refills

Administering flu and pneumovax vaccines

Patient Education

Prior Authorizations for medication and ordered tests

Managing samples/sample closet
