Position Overview Volunteer Copywriter & Social Media Specialist for Phoebe’s Safe Haven, a non‑profit dedicated to trauma-informed, accessible housing for disabled women who are survivors of domestic violence. Responsibilities Create a strategic 60–90 day social media launch calendar for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn that includes posting schedule, suggested frequency, campaign themes, recommended content pillars, awareness dates, and calls‑to‑action. Write copy that covers awareness building, founder introduction, donor outreach, volunteer recruitment, community storytelling, and website launch announcements. Collaborate with staff to gain mission context, founder notes, brand voice guidance, and access to existing materials; review drafts, provide timely feedback, and implement the approved calendar for the public launch. Lead the development of a new and improved mission and vision statement to communicate the organization’s purpose and vision. Help establish a corporate sponsorship strategy to secure corporate sponsorships to support the organization.
