Sales and Service Representative

Inside Sales and Service Representative Our client is a family owned leader in the roofing industry. They have a 400,000 sq. ft. warehouse with an extensive fleet of delivery vehicles and most importantly, a friendly staff ready and willing to help the customer. SUMMARY Be the front line of customer service by focusing on counter sales, walk-in customers, telephone customer service, and electronic order entries. SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm PAY: Up to $23/hr - depending on experience and skill fit DUTIES: Communicate with customers through walk-ins, phone, and email. Contributes to counter sales and order taking Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward all customers, vendors and co-workers. Address incoming customer inquiries; change orders, tracking of deliveries, direct to correct depts, and any other questions and/or complaints that arise. Keep records and enters data of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints with follow up as a priority. Research and gather documentation for customer credits and charges. Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support Interfaces with the warehouse and dispatch to provide quality customer service. Performs light clean up, and maintains product and sales literature inventory. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 1 year of recent consistent work history in a Sales, Administrative or Clerical position. Verifiable knowledge of word processing, email, spreadsheets, inventory and database software Prior work experience interfacing with customers in person, on the phone and digitally simultaneously. Preference given to candidates with accredited top sales, project completion and other accomplishments showing independence and motivation. Ability to read and interpret documents and basic math skills for invoicing and transaction purposes.
