This position is currently accepting applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble and pack machines according to routers in preparation for shipment. Drive a forklift to transport materials and products. Receive paperwork from service to package and ship out parts. Prepare shipping paperwork for UPS, Federal Express and DHL. Pull parts from inventory shelves and package accordingly. Operate a sealed air packaging machine. Supervisory Responsibilities This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. Safety Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include color vision. Work Environment The noise level is usually moderate. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Fork truck license. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to present information to customers, clients, and employees. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percent; interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
