Evaluating complex life insurance risks, the full-time remote Life Underwriter will assess mortality and financial factors, collaborate with distribution teams, and influence underwriting strategy to deliver optimal outcomes for clients. Key responsibilities Evaluate and manage all aspects of life insurance applications, determining risk acceptance and modifications Deliver first-offer, best-offer outcomes to drive sales while maintaining quality service to advisors and third-party firms Communicate underwriting decisions effectively to customers and foster relationships with advisors and brokerage partners Required qualifications High school diploma or GED 3+ years of life insurance or Long Term Care underwriting experience Underwriting authority limit of $3 million or more Experience with both term and permanent life insurance products Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
