Senior Systems Analyst

American National is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support the Production Enablement team within our Annuity Business Systems Analysis organization. This role is responsible for leading issue resolution, driving root cause analysis, and influencing system and process improvements across annuity operations and agile teams.Essential Functions and Duties:Research and analyze annuity production support tickets, questions, and system-related problems to determine root cause and recommend timely, effective solutionsIdentify trends across issues, lead root cause analysis for high-impact, recurring issues, and recommend system and/or process improvements Apply problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and business knowledge to support complex, high-impact, and cross functional Recognize when a request requires escalation to an agile team for a more comprehensive solution, system enhancement, or code change, and communicate the need clearly to the appropriate partnersEstablish and maintain documentation standards and training materials to ensure alignment across teamsCommunicate findings, recommendations, and process guidance effectively through written, verbal, and interpersonal interactionsFollow tickets through to completion and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and qualityMentor and provide guidance to the Production Enablement team and contribute to team developmentDrive continuous improvement initiatives and identify efficiency opportunities Provide high-quality service to internal and external customersQualifications:Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years work experienceExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsExpert-level analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research issues and recommend solutionsDeep technical aptitude with demonstrated expertise across systems, processes, and toolsProven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environmentExperience creating documentation, job aids, procedures, or training materialsAnnuity knowledge preferred, including an understanding of annuity operations, products, and administration systemsJobFamilyApplication Systems & SupportPayTypeSalaryEmploymentIndicatorIndividual Contributor
