Athletic Trainer - Float

Administer athletic training services in community or clinic settings under the supervision of a supervising physician Evaluate injuries and develop treatment and exercise plans within the scope of practice Re-evaluate treatment plans to ensure maximum patient benefit Implement individualized therapeutic interventions and monitor client responses for safety Report progress and medical changes to referring physicians or appropriate medical providers Educate clients, families, and coaches about injuries, risk factor modification, and exercise programs Conduct injury screening clinics, educational programs, and workshops promoting safety and injury prevention Document patient treatment according to professional and regulatory standards Attend practices, games, and community athletic events Assist providers with home exercise plans, imaging, continued care, and case management of injured athletes/clients undergoing rehabilitation Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, nursing staff, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field from an accredited university training program Current Board of Certification (BOC) for the Athletic Trainer certification Valid athletic trainer license issued in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers Strong interpersonal communication and human relation skills Ability to provide services within the scope and practice of athletic training clinical competencies defined by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the State’s Board of Athletic Training Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in administering athletic training services, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care. Proficient in educating clients and monitoring their progress while adhering to professional and regulatory standards.
