RYZE at the Ridge is seeking a motivated, creative, and compassionate Activity Director to lead the planning and execution of engaging programs that enhance our residents' quality of life. The Activity Director is responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment where residents can thrive socially, mentally, emotionally, and physically.

• Plan, organize, and oversee individual and group activities based on residents' interests, abilities, and needs.

• Develop and maintain monthly and weekly activity calendars.

• Lead and supervise activity staff, aides, and volunteers.

• Encourage consistent resident engagement and participation in activities.

• Maintain accurate activity documentation, attendance records, and resident assessments.

• Coordinate special events, community outings, entertainment, and holiday programs.

• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, and other interdisciplinary team members to support residents' overall well-being.

• Manage activity department supplies, inventory, and budget as assigned.

• Ensure activity programs comply with applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies.

• Maintain safe, organized, and engaging activity spaces.

• Evaluate resident participation and adjust programs to meet changing resident needs.

• Perform other duties as assigned by facility leadership.

• Certified Activity Director required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field preferred.

• Previous experience leading activities in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting required.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to develop and lead creative, meaningful, and engaging resident programs.

• Compassionate, energetic, and resident-focused approach.

• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, staff, volunteers, and interdisciplinary team members.
