• Position: Locum Tenens Hematology/Oncology Physician / Hematology Oncologist
• Start Date: August 1, 2026
• End Date: July 1, 2027
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $10,000 - $11,850
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (office hours)
• Weekend Rounds: Assigned weekends, 4 hours per day onsite
• Call: After-hours phone call for urgent matters, no in-person return required
• Patient Volume: 12-15 patient encounters per shift
• Travel: Possible travel up to 2 days per week to Somerset office (approx 30 minutes)
• Duration: 11 months with locums-to-perm potential

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact with Letter of Qualification (IMLC LOQ)
• Completion of Pennsylvania-mandated education: 3 hours child abuse recognition/reporting and 4 hours pain management/opioid prescribing
• Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in hematology/oncology practice

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care, including chemotherapy oversight and infusion coordination
• Perform hospital rounds and inpatient consults on assigned weeks
• Participate in assigned weekend hospital rounds (4 hours per day)
• Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and infusion teams
• Respond to after-hours urgent patient calls; no in-person return required
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and care coordination with nurse navigators
• Travel to outlying Somerset office as needed
