Staffing Coordinator

The role of the Staffing Coordinator is to schedule nurses with patients in a timely manner. A successful Staffing Coordinator should be able to communicate efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. The goal is to ensure that the company's staffing requirements are always met, and employees work in a friendly, supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent):

  • Investigate pharmacies staffing needs and take action to staff accordingly
  • Schedule, organize and implement a sustainable staffing strategy
  • Work with other staff members to fulfill the needs of patients and nurses' schedules
  • Identify hard to fill schedules and take proactive actions
  • Possess excellent communication and written skills to effectively speak to employees, patients and pharmacies
  • Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations
  • Update nurses' calendars daily

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 6 months of related experience
Basic Qualifications
  • Good time management skills with the ability to handle various open referrals simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills
  • Communicate in a timely manner
Physical Demand Requirements
  • Ability to work on a personal computer or laptop computer for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, reaching
Travel Requirements: (if required)

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)
  • Some college
  • Previous healthcare scheduling experience

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $16.32-$22.71
