Bartender

BartenderThe Bartender will be passionate about creating memorable guest experiences through high-quality service and expertly crafted beverages. You'll be responsible for pouring drinks, serving guests, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area.Responsibilities and DutiesGreet guests warmly and engage in friendly conversation.Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.Maintain in-depth knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and bar specials.Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.Monitor guest behavior and manage alcohol consumption responsibly.Operate POS systems, take orders, and process payments accurately.Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift.Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.Check taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor repairs or changing out kegs, if needed.Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage service guidelines.Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.RequirementsEducation, Skills & KnowledgePrevious bartending experience preferredKnowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and bar equipment.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol.Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plusWorking ConditionsAbility to stand for extended periods.Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.Fast-paced bar or restaurant setting.Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed.
