Job Title: Sr. Claims Analyst

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Sr. Claims Analyst to join our client to support the accurate configuration and enforcement of medical claims payment policies. This role plays a critical part in ensuring claims systems align with business requirements, regulatory standards, and operational workflows. The Sr. Claims Analyst will analyze claims data, identify policy gaps, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and improve outcomes. This is a contract position based in Philadelphia, PA with a hybrid work arrangement.

Compensation:
$46.00 per hour

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours, 37.5 hour work week; onsite Tuesday through Thursday

Key Responsibilities of the Sr. Claims Analyst:
• Support the setup and maintenance of medical and claims payment policies to ensure accuracy across systems and processes
• Review claims data and reporting to identify trends, inconsistencies, training needs, and opportunities for operational improvement
• Oversee policy enforcement across claims platforms, prior authorization workflows, desk procedures, and after payment review activities
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to perform root cause analysis, User Acceptance Testing, and resolution of claims incidents
• Provide documentation, quality assurance reporting, escalation support, and corrective action recommendations to promote compliance

Qualifications and Skills for the Sr. Claims Analyst:
• A degree in a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience is equally valued
• Five or more years of experience in insurance or health insurance claims, operations, or business requirements analysis
• Working knowledge of medical coding, including CPT, CMS processing rules, and claims systems such as HealthRules
• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly
• Proficiency with Microsoft business tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
