OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Tupelo, MS by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Based in Tupelo, MS, join HMD Trucking’s OTR solo operations moving dry van freight across the U.S. You’ll drive modern tractors under three years old with sleepers, APUs and inverters, and receive timely support from our in-house maintenance team.

Daily work and responsibilities:

• Deliver dry van freight safely and on schedule, maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation.
• Conduct required inspections, basic trailer checks, and stay in close contact with dispatch to optimize routes.

Requirements & opportunity:

• CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience required.
• Starting pay 65¢/mi with weekly averages around 2,500 miles, plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses and full benefits.
